Introduction: So Easy a Kid Could...SHOULD Do It! Picture Wrap
Ever since I was a kid Christmas decorating has been one of the funnest things for me. So I was very pleased to see an instructional contest for it!
This is something that we do year after year in my home and everybody loves it. Plus at the end of the season when all the gifts have been unwrapped, There are still several things yet to be torn open.
Just the usual gift wrap supplies:
Wrapping Paper(holiday appropriate)
An item to wrap(in this case the pictures you have already on the wall)
A willing worker elf(either a child or a child at heart)
Step 2: Cutting
The trick is to just wrap the front of the picture rather than the whole thing so that you can hang it back on the wall.
It’s easiest to lay the picture on the wrapping paper, tape one side and cut around it.
Step 3: Cutting to Size
It’s easiest to lay the picture on the wrapping paper, and tape one side.
Then cut around the picture framing leaving enough room to tape to the back of the picture.
Step 4: Wrap
If you have any gift wrapping skills at all this will be very simple.
When folding over try to make it as tight as you can.
When doing the corners get your origami on!
At this point your elf should be smiling and having fun
Step 5: Show Off, Hang and Straighten
Now that your picture frame is wrapped and looking beautiful it’s ready to hang back on the wall. It doesn’t even need to be straight!
Repeat this process for as many pictures as you want to turn into Christmas gifts
