Introduction: No-bake Cookies by Brent Wilen

Hi, I am Brent Wilen, I help people make the savory sweets of imagination, into a reality. I am going to show you how to use everyday pantry items to create a delicacy instead of letting those unused ingredients go to waste. I am going to show you in 4 easy steps, how to make a desert in the comforts of your own kitchen and minimize the time spent cleaning. 44 percent of new adults look for quick convenience and cheap cost for their desserts, when it can be quickly and cheaply done in a kitchen.

Step 1: Gather Ingredients

First gather all the ingredients needed and have a clean surface to work on such as a counter & a table. Wash down the counter and table before starting the process. These are all items that can be found in an everyday pantry. Two cups of sugar, a half cup of milk four tablespoons of cocoa, one stick of butter, two and a half cups of quick oats, two teaspoons of vanilla, and a half cup of peanut butter. Also needed is a medium sized kettle, wax paper, and an ice cream scoop or a big spoon.

Step 2: Boil Main Ingredients

First off to start the process place the kettle on a stove top burner turned to high/medium heat. Put the butter in the kettle until its melted, then pour in the ½ cup of milk, add the 4 tablespoons of cocoa, and lastly the 2 cups of sugar. Next, Stir the contents together continuously until it boils. Once boiling set a timer for 1 minute and a stir continuously until the timer is up. Take the kettle off the hot unit and move to a hot pad on the counter. Waste no time getting the next process.

Step 3: Add Final Ingredients

Now pour in the 2 ½ cups of quick oats, the 2 teaspoons of vanilla, and the ½ cup of peanut butter. Stir together until the consistency is even and it is an even dark brown color. Spread the wax paper and use the ice-cream scoop to scoop out even balls of the mix. Spread the balls out evenly on the wax paper and use another piece of wax paper if necessary. Wait about ten to fifteen minutes for the cookies to cool.

Step 4: Clean Up & Enjoy

While waiting for the cookies to cool clean up the mess. It is easier to clean the kettle while it is still warm. After all the cleaning is done the cookies should be cool and now stiff. Then the very last step is to taste the creation. If the cookie is a delicious mixture of flavor, the process worked correctly. Finally sit back and enjoy.
