Introduction: How to Make a Quesadilla

Do you like to cook? Do you know how to make some of your favorite foods? Making your own food can be easy. All you have to do is learn a few things. You can make snacks and meals that you like. Making a quesadilla is easy and fast. Follow these directions and you will know how to make one.

Step 1:

Before you start making a quesadilla there are a few things to know. You need to know how to run your stove. I will be using the gas stove at my house. You could use a quesadilla maker if you have one. Before you start, you will need to organize your supplies. The supplies you will need are pan spray, tortilla shells, cheese slices, 1 pound of hamburger and pepper. You will also need a frying pan for the hamburger and a frying pan for the quesadilla, something for stirring the hamburger and a turner.

Step 2:

The first thing you should do is fry the hamburger in one of the frying pans. Start by spraying the pan with the pan spray. Put the hamburger into the pan. Brown it so it is all the way done. Add some pepper and taste it to see if it tastes good. Drain the fat if it is too greasy.

Step 3:

The next thing you do is heat the tortilla in the other frying pan. Put the burner on medium. Spray some pan spray in the pan and put the tortilla in the pan. Set the burner to medium to high. Put a couple of slices of cheese on the tortilla. You can let it sit for a minute or so if you want it to start melting.

Step 4:

Next, sprinkle the hamburger on top of the cheese.

Now put a couple more slices of cheese on top of the hamburger. Put the other tortilla shell on top. Now start frying the quesadilla. You might want to turn the burner up a little higher. You have to fry it on one side for about 2 minutes. You want to be careful so you don’t burn it. But you have to fry it long enough to get the cheese melted.

Step 5:

Use a spatula to turn it over. Be careful so you don’t lose the filling. You can use a plate and flip it over and then put it back in the pan if that is easier for you. Sometimes that is easier than flipping it with a spatula. Fry it on that side for 2 minutes again. It should be just about done. Make sure the cheese is melted.

Step 6:

Now you are ready to put it on a plate to eat. Slide it out of the pan to a plate. Be careful so you don’t spill it. Cut it into slices like a pizza or a pie. Next time you want to try it you can use different fillings and make it just the way you want. Like I said, making your own food can be easy. All you have to do is learn a few things and you can make your own snacks and meals.
