## Introduction: How to Make Pretty Scenery

Making pretty scenery can be nice, especially this one. Learning how you can make this pretty mountain-side scenery is going to be as specific as possible. These steps are going to guide you. Please pay close attention to the steps. There will be times when you will need to completely zoom out. You will be informed when you will need to zoom out, so no need to worry. Therefore, let's get started! Here are some things you need to know before we get started.

• If you notice that one color is selected in a picture, and the rest of them are censored, please choose the color that is assigned for the code-block shape.
• If you notice that some code-blocks are not attached, it means that the 3D model, which was made in TinkerCAD code-blocks, was not animated the same as it is in this tutorial. Although some code-blocks might not be attached, you should know that these code-blocks must fit together.
• If you notice the words such as "Mountain" or "Peak", they are in specific places within the screenshots to let you know which one is which.
• Final heads up, every peak will be white, with one exception, which will be mentioned much later into the tutorial.

## Supplies

You will need the following

-TinkerCAD, an open-source, online 3D software

## Step 1: The Beginning Mountain

This is the mountain that will be in the center corner of the 3D work-plane. You will need to change the characteristics of the cone-shaped mountain. However, you will need to move the mountain a little higher. To bring it up, insert a move code-block. Please make sure the color of the mountain code-block is brown and the color of the peak code-block is white. Please also check the pictures for more details. The move code-block will give you 3 sets of coordinates; X, Y, and Z. Coordinate X is left and right, Y is front and back, and Z is vertical. You can change the coordinates by typing numbers in the blank, white spaces. This will save you lots of time. You will only have to raise the mountain's peak 61 units high. For instance, to raise the peak, you need to type in the number "61". Next, you will need to change the number Make sure there are 48 sides around the. Next, you will have to make sure the height is 97 units tall. Next, you will need to change the top radius to 4 ft, the bottom radius to 34 ft, the number of sides to 48, and please also make sure the height of the mountain is 97 units tall.

## Step 2: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 1

As you climb up that tall mountain, you will be more experienced at 3D modeling. You will add the first mountain. This mountain is one of the mountains that will create a mountain range. For every mountain which is involved in this beautiful, magnificent mountain range, please take note that each color as shown in the picture must be that specific color. Please make sure the mountain color is dark brown and the peak color is white. This mountain range is in the center, where the heart of the beautiful landscape is. First, you will need to insert one cone into the code-block section, where you will have to modify its characteristics. Then, change the top radius to 4 ft. Next, you will have to change the height to 59 units. Finally, you will need to change the number of sides of the cone to 48.

Next, add a pyramid. This is the mountain's peak. For this peak, you will need to make changes. To begin, change the number sides around the pyramid to 90 sides. Next, Insert a move code-block. You will need to change the X, Y, and Z coordinates. Change the X coordinate to 45. Make sure the Y coordinate is set to 0. If it is not set to 0, please set it to 0 now. Lastly, change the Z coordinate to 69.

Finally, you will need to add a scale code-block. The scale code-block lets you enlarge the shape. Here, I will mention the details. Make sure the coordinates X and Y are set to 1. Make sure the height of this mountain is 4 units tall. In other words, please change the Z coordinate number to 4. Bravo! You have made the first 1/7 of your mountain range!

## Step 3: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 2

Now, we will make the same mountain with the same look, characteristics, and Z-coordinates but on the opposite end. In other words, the coordinate X must be 45 units to the left.

Mountain

• Top Radius - 4 ft
• Bottom Radius - 28 ft
• Height = 59 units tall
• There are 48 sides around the cone
• Color must be dark brown
• On the XYZ coordinate plane, move the object to -45, 0, 31

Mountain Peak

• 90 sides
• On the XYZ coordinate plane, move the object to -45, 0, 69
• Scale the object to 1 unit long and wide and 4 units tall

## Step 4: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 3

Now we're 3/7 through our creation of the mountain range. When we have completed the mountain range, you'll see a pattern.

To continue, drag a cone code-block to the code-block area. There, you will need to edit its characteristics and move the object. Please make sure the color is dark brown. Make sure that the top radius is 4 ft, the bottom radius is 28 ft, the height is 59 units tall, and make sure also that there are 48 sides. You will need to move the cone 45 units to the south (i.e. behind) and move the peak 69 units high. To finish off this mountain with a great ending, insert another cone-shaped code block. Make sure that the top radius is 0 ft and the bottom radius is 10 ft. Now we're going to add a little twist to this peak, so be sure to make it to the end of this reading. Be sure the height of the peak is 36 units long and that there are 24 sides around the peak.

Bravo! You made the second mountain!

## Step 5: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 4

Now, when we're halfway done with this mountain range, your mind will be onto something. When we're done making this mountain specifically, you'll notice a T-shape. At the end of this mountain range, I'll reveal to you what the mountain range is and I might also share a screenshot with you. First, insert a cone-shaped code-block. Make sure the color of the mountain is dark brown. Next, make sure the top radius is 4 ft, the bottom radius is 28, the height is 59 units long, and please also make sure there are 48 sides. Then, you will need to move the mountain. There is no need to involve the X-coordinate. Therefore, please move the mountain 45 upfront (Y coordinate) and 31 units high (Z coordinate). Next, you will need to insert another cone-shape code-block. Make sure the peak is there too. You'll need to insert a cone-shaped code-block. In this part, we're going to do the twist. Make sure the top radius is 0 ft and the bottom radius is 9.0025 ft. Now, to continue doing the twist, we are going to make sure the height of this peak is 36 units tall and that the number of sides is 24. Bravo! You made your 4th mountain! Congrats!

## Step 6: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 5

Add a cone - This is the mountain

• Height = 59 units tall
• 48 sides around the cone
• Color = Dark Green
• Move = X: 56, Y: 26, Z: 31

Add another cone - This is the mountain

• Height = 36 units tall
• 24 sides around the cone
• Move = X: 56, Y: 26, Z: 69

## Step 7: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 6

Now we're near the end of the road of making our mountain range. To make this short, please follow the bullet points as directed below.

Add a cone - This is the mountain

• Height = 59 units tall
• 48 sides around the cone
• Color = Dark Green
• Move = X: 42, Y: -76, Z: 31

Add another cone - This is the mountain peak

• Height = 36 units tall
• 24 sides around the cone
• Color = White
• Move = X: 42 Y: -76, Z: 69

## Step 8: Creating a Mountain Range - Part 7

Let's finish our mountain range off with a great, strong finish.

Add another cone - This is the peak

• Height = 36 units tall
• 24 sides around the cone

## Step 9: Make the Field

Add a cube - This builds up the majority of the beautiful scenery

• Length + Width = 108,000,000 units long and wide
• Height = 10 units long
• Steps = 0
• Edge Steps = 10
• Scale = X: 15, Y: 15, Z: 1
• Color = Dark Green

## Step 10: Make a Giant Mountain

Before we begin, please zoom as furthest as possible for the rest of this tutorial.

Add a Paraboloid - This paraboloid is the mountain

• Height = 20 units long
• 24 sides around the paraboloid
• Move = X: 407, Y: 0, Z:0
• Scale = X: 4, Y: 4, Z: 16
• Move = X: 0, Y: 0, Z: 104
• Color = Dark Green

Add another Paraboloid - This paraboloid is the mountain peak

• Height = 80 units long
• 24 sides around the paraboloid
• Move = X: 407, Y: 0, Z:100
• Scale = X: 2.5, Y: 2.5, Z: 2
• Move = X: 0, Y: 0, Z: 104
• Color = Dark Green

## Step 11: Add Another Ginormous Mountain

Add a pyramid - This is the mountain

• Scale = X: 20, Y: 20, Z: 16

• Color = Dark Brown
• 90 sides around the pyramid

Add another pyramid - This is the mountain peak

• Scale = X: 18.5, Y: 18.5, Z: 18

## Step 12: A Mountain Without Its Peak

This is the one mountain which is given an exception from a peak.

Add a cone - This is the mountain

• Top Radius = 0 ft
• Height = 7,800 units tall
• 24 sides around the cone
• Move = X: 298, Y: 471, Z: 78
• Scale = X: 7.445, Y: 7.445, Z: 7.445

## Step 13: Make a Tall Mountain

Add a sphere - This is the mountain

• Steps = 4
• Scale = X: 2, Y: 2, Z: 4

Add a cone - This is the peak

• Top Radius = 4 ft
• Height = 8,900
• Sides = 8
• Move = X: 0, Y: 807, Z: 336

## Step 14: The Finale

Now we have finished making our mountains. Let's make this scenery more beautiful

Add a Paraboloid - The first hill

• Height = 20 units tall
• Sides = 24 sides around the paraboloid
• Move = X: 121, Y: 457, Z: 12
• Scale = X: 64, Y: 82, Z: 2.1
• Color = Dark Green

• Scale = X: 64, Y: 64, Z: 16
• Move = X: -354, Y: -398, Z: -4
