Step 1: Ingredients

You will have about 16 medium sized cookies.

  • Red velvet cake mix
  • 70 g of unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs

  • Baking tray (you can use wax paper or butter and all purpose flour)
  • Silicone spatula
  • Mixing bowl

Step 3: Melt the Butter and Mix It With the Red Velvet Cake Mix and the Eggs.

You will use the silicone spatula to mix the dough until fully incorporated.

Step 4: Chop the Chocolate

Chop the chocolate into chunks and divide it in two parts, one will be for the mixture and the other one for decoration.

Step 5: Add the Chocolate

Add one part of the chocolate chunks you chopped before.

Step 6: Shape the Dough and Decorate

Shape the dough into medium sized balls and place it in a chopping board, then place the chocolate you saved before on top of the dough balls.

Line the baking tray with wax paper (or you can use butter and all purpose flour instead) and then place the cookies with a decent amount of distance. Bake for 20 minutes at 356 °F.

I like the addition of that candy into the cookies! And I like how they didn't get really flat when baked, I have that issue sometimes with cake mix cookies :)
